Frequently Asked Questions
In this section, we have collected answers to the most frequently asked questions about tours in Azerbaijan. Here you will learn how to book excursions, how tours are conducted, and find other useful information. Our guides and specialists share practical tips to ensure your trips are comfortable, safe, and truly unforgettable.
There is no payment terminal with the guide for paying for the excursion by bank card on-site, so the main payment is made in cash. If you prefer not to worry about payment in advance, you can choose the “Full Payment” option during booking.
Yes, most additional expenses during the excursion — for example, museums, activities, or lunch — can be paid by bank card. The exception is if your program includes an additional payment for off-road vehicles.
In group tours, payment is possible upon meeting the guide before the start of the excursion. In private tours, a minimum prepayment of 20% is required at the time of booking, and the remaining amount can be conveniently paid directly when meeting the guide before the start of the tour.
Excursions are conducted using modern and comfortable vehicles such as Mercedes Sprinter, Toyota Hiace, Mercedes Vito, as well as sedans for small groups. The choice of transport depends on the number of participants in the excursion.
All vehicles comply with tourist transportation standards and provide adequate spacing between seats, making the trip comfortable even on longer routes.
For private tours, if desired, additional transport preferences can be discussed in advance, and a more personalized option can be arranged for an additional fee.
In group excursions, the number of participants usually does not exceed 18 people. This size allows maintaining comfort, individual attention from the guide, and a lively atmosphere so that each guest can freely enjoy the route and ask questions.
The weather in the region can be changeable, so it is best to check the exact forecast one day before the excursion. We recommend preparing in advance and bringing everything necessary for a comfortable trip.
Excursions are conducted in any weather, and changes to the program or cancellations are extremely rare. In case of unfavorable conditions, we will contact you in advance to offer alternative options or reschedule the tour to a convenient time, ensuring comfort and safety for all participants.
In case of cancellation of a group tour 24 hours before the start of the excursion, we will gladly refund the full payment. For private tours, a 20% prepayment is retained at the time of booking, and the remaining amount is refunded in case of cancellation within the agreed terms.
At the moment, prices for group excursions already include current discounts valid until the end of the month. In addition, for children and seniors, additional benefits are provided — special discounts of up to 25% to make the trip even more affordable and enjoyable.
One day before the excursion, after 20:00, our operations department prepares the tour program for the next day and assigns groups to guides. After that, the assigned guide contacts each participant and sends all the necessary information for a convenient meeting.
Guests receive:
- the exact meeting point location;
- a photo of the guide;
- vehicle details.
Thanks to this, participants can easily find their guide and transport before the start of the excursion.
Yes, this option is available. When booking the tour, you can indicate this request in the “Preferences” section. Our team will try to accommodate your request and arrange adjacent seats if possible.
Our routes run along well-maintained roads with smooth turns, so most guests do not experience discomfort or motion sickness.
A wide variety of guests take part in group excursions. Participants may include families and couples, as well as individual travelers. This format creates a friendly atmosphere where people from different countries and with different interests are united by a shared desire to explore the culture and nature of Azerbaijan.
There are no nationality restrictions in our excursions — guests from all over the world join. Each group becomes a truly international community where travelers from different countries communicate, share experiences, and discover the beauty of Azerbaijan together. This multicultural format makes the trip even more engaging and enriching.
Child seats are not provided in standard group tours. However, all vehicles are equipped with seat belts, ensuring a basic level of comfort and safety during the trip.
In private tours, it is possible to provide a child seat upon prior agreement for an additional fee.
If you are traveling with a small child, you can bring a stroller — it can be conveniently placed in the luggage compartment. However, in some parts of the route, using a stroller may not be very convenient. For greater comfort, guests may use baby carriers.
Group excursions follow a strict schedule, as other guests are also participating. To respect everyone’s time and follow the planned itinerary, the vehicle departs at the scheduled time.
We recommend arriving at the meeting point a little in advance to start the excursion calmly and without rush.
Yes, when booking the tour, you can indicate your preference in the “Preferences” section, and we will try to take it into account when organizing meals.
Our excursions are conducted in groups of up to 17 people, and experienced guides lead them with clear and expressive speech, so the need for headphones is usually not necessary. Upon request or for larger groups, headphones can be arranged for an additional fee.
Drinking water is usually not provided on the bus, but about 15 minutes after departure we make the first stop for 15 minutes. During this time, everyone can purchase drinks or light snacks according to their preference. This pause allows for a short rest, refreshment, and continuation of the trip in comfort.
Insurance for foreign citizens is usually not provided. We recommend arranging travel insurance in advance.
Internet is not provided on the bus — this allows you to fully enjoy the scenic views and focus on the guide’s narration.
Consumption of alcohol is not allowed on group excursions. This is because families and guests with children often travel in the group, so a comfortable and respectful atmosphere is maintained for all participants.
In private tours, this can be discussed in advance. Provided that the transport is treated with care and proper behavior is maintained, this may sometimes be allowed.
Pets are not allowed on group tours to avoid disturbing other guests and to maintain comfort for the entire group.
In private tours, this may be possible upon prior agreement with the organizers.
